ABOUT ONE CITY UNITED

A Catalyst for Life Transformation

One City United exists to connect individuals to resources and organizations that provide services to help end crisis, poverty, and addiction and equip individuals to transform their lives.

One City United was born from five years of research and development conducted in underserved neighborhoods in Waterloo, IA. Our research led us to identify needs, or gaps, that drove us to find solutions to equip people. We collaborate with businesses, organizations, churches, and individuals to identify needs and develop programs that promote life transformation, fresh opportunities, and lasting economic and social ripple effects.

What We Do

One City United focuses on uncovering needs and implementing solutions for individuals in the Cedar Valley. Equipping people to thrive is expressed in everything we do.

  • Momentum is a proven successful, six-week rigorous life transformation and workforce development program from One City United that mines talent in Waterloo and the surrounding communities.
